At PEAK Scaffolding Ltd., we are always giving back to our community in whatever little ways we can. We have gone out of our way to get involve with groups and corporations that have interest in charity and help Indigenous people. For example, we are listed at Miziwe Biik Aboriginal Employment and Training as an employer for Indigenous people. They have been assisting all persons of Aboriginal ancestry to attain a better quality of life since 1991, their mission in strengthening the community is one that we are now proud to be a part of. There is also Métis Nation of Ontario that we are a part of and the Carpenters Union Local 27 where we are the liaison for. Metis Nation of Ontario Focusing on ‘nation building’ through collaborative work in order to support Métis citizens and communities, which is an admirable goal that aligns with ours. Also, with the help of the Carpenters Union Local 27, we plan and organize different charity events in the GTA for Indigenous communities.
On top of all of this, our work around the GTA can be seen making a difference. Jobs such as those at Senaca college, Goerge Brown College, and The Metropolitan Community Church of Toronto to name a few. We are proud that our work at these different institutes would have an impact on various groups of people and also that we can make a positive change and work along side institutions that are major parts of the city. In the future we intend to perpetuate this sentiment of care and giving. We are looking forward to what 2024 has in store.
